Long before I had a word for it, I was learning design by watching. I grew up watching Ruth Tepley decorate homes in the Broadmoor area, and I was captivated by the way a house could be transformed: the right color on the walls, a treasured piece given its place, a room suddenly feeling warm and complete. Those early impressions never left me.
Today, I bring that same sense of wonder to every home I design. I believe a beautiful room should feel gracious and personal, layered with things that matter, and comfortable enough to live in every single day.
Some of my favorite design moments happen with family, like testing a soft green on a freshly prepared wall with my grandmother, brushes in hand, deciding together whether it feels right. Her encouragement and her own love of a well-kept home are woven into how I work.
I love to travel. Wandering hill towns like those in Tuscany, I find myself studying old stone, weathered wood, faded frescoes, and the quiet way centuries-old rooms hold light. I bring those textures and that sense of history home with me.
And home is Colorado. These red rocks and wide skies are where my family's story is written, and I'm honored to help families here create homes that hold theirs.
